The Search Process

LEARN | We travel to you to understand, in detail, about your facility. We gain an in-depth understanding of the team culture, the type of person the client requires and the technical details of the position we will be headhunting for. We will also develop a detailed Job Description is required.

SEARCH | DPSM map the market. We do this using the following tools:

  • Our Database
  • Our Network
  • Old Fashioned Research – we map out similar facilities around the globe with similar grass types.

APPROACH | We begin to approach only the best, most suited candidates. We are professional and discreet when approaching candidates – all communication is 100% confidential.

INTERVIEW SCREENING | Each candidate will be interviewed twice via video conference call initially. Firstly by DPSM to assess the candidate’s leadership qualities as well as their potential cultural fit. Secondly by Turfgrass to assess the candidates technical knowledge of the grass types, financial budgeting and to delve further in to their current agronomic operations.

Once video conference screening has taken place, the top 8 candidates are met face to face by DPSM, and narrowed to 3-5 candidates for Shortlisting.

SHORTLISTING | We will travel to you to present our shortlist of 3 to 5 candidates, each candidate will have an overview on their strengths and weaknesses and our thoughts. Our client then decides on who to interview.

CLOSING | DPSM will be available throughout Client interviews and will be available to facilitate negotiations between the preferred candidates and the Client.
