Bridgestone Golf, the #1 ball-fitter in golf and a recognized industry innovator, announce Angel Ilagan has joined the company and will assume the role of President and CEO.
Ilagan brings more than 30 years of experience as a strategic and results-oriented leader with a proven track record of developing and growing businesses. As President and CEO, he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Bridgestone Golf’s operations and growing its position in the marketplace. He will provide strategic leadership across all of the company’s core business functions, including product planning, sales and marketing, customer operations, Bridgestone’s industry-leading golf equipment production and more.

Prior to joining Bridgestone Golf, Ilagan was named Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer with Vera Bradley. In this role he was responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that increased brand awareness and revenues for the company. Prior to joining Vera Bradley, Ilagan was Chief Marketing Officer/ Vice President of Marketing-Americas for Pandora Jewelry, where he oversaw all global branding, strategic marketing and e-commerce content. In addition, Ilagan has held key marketing roles with several well-known consumer product companies including Newell Rubbermaid, Bristol-Myers Squibb, McCormick, Conagra and General Mills.
Ilagan attended the University of California at Berkeley’s Walter A. Haas School of Business, earning a BS and MBA. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. He and his wife, Leslie, have two children, Robert and Samantha.
