Sam Green Appointed At Kuredu, Maldives

KureduFrom big to small, from China to Kuredu… a big welcome to Kuredu’s new Golf Pro – Sam Green!

When one thinks of activities to do in the Maldives it’s usually diving, snorkelling, watersports, spa treatments or simply relaxing, but golf? Maldives and golf are not usually two words that belong in the same sentence, especially when you imagine the tiny idyllic islands surrounded by the ocean…

Kuredu changed all that. Tucked away in the dense tropical vegetation is a lush, has-to-be-seen-to-be-believed 6-hole, par three golf course along with a full size driving range and bar. The Golf Club, a hidden gem on Kuredu, has just welcomed a new Golf Pro, Sam Green, who is available for private and group lessons.

Sam, from the UK, has recently taken up the post on Kuredu and is enjoying the perfect weather, his outdoor office – The Golf Club, and meeting lots of new guests. Before Kuredu came calling, Sam was a Golf Professional and Business Development Manager at Mission Hills Golf Club, China, the world’s largest golf facility, so moving to a small island is quite a change for him! Let’s hope he remembers where he is and doesn’t get carried away with a full swing!
